The Fountain

In 2005 Hi-ReS! built the site for The Fountain a Darren Aronofsky film realeased in 2006 through Warner Bros and Protozoa Pictures.
We had started talking to Darren about working on his new feature, The Fountain, in 2002, when suddenly a cast member dropped out and the whole project was shelved. Fast forward 3 years and he is showing us a rough edit of the resurrected feature, now with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz and it's clear this movie has a similar emotional impact on us as Requiem did 5 years earlier.
The site became an untangled interpretation of the non-linear storyline of the film, divided into 6 chapters. There is little point in trying to describe either the film or the site - it’s best experienced for yourself...
