Creative Director (Hamburg)
Our friends at Syzygy in Hamburg are looking for a Creative Director to head one of the best multidisciplinary design studios in Germany with talented people in a beautiful location in the heart of Hamburg with views over the city. (If this sounds too good to be true, check this out)
You will also get to work with the talented people at Hi-ReS! on a constant basis across a whole range of exciting multi-channel projects. And we will give you cake every day at 4. What’s not to like?
Here’s what we are looking for in you:
You should be a charismatic leader, someone who will inspire a team and is ready to be inspired by them, someone passionate about our digital world in all its facets. You should of course be used to working across multiple projects, in art direction, strategy and most importantly interaction. You have a track record of winning pitches, gaining client confidence as a leader who can manage large-scale cross-channel projects. You possess that rarest sense of them all: common sense. You know to question the status quo, and you know to choose your battles. And most of all, you are looking for a place where great ideas will happen.
The way you will work is in autonomy with minimal management supervision - it’s yours to mold and shape, and we will rely on you to make the studio flourish even more.

Junior Developer
We're looking for a Junior Front End Developer, which is to say, we're looking for someone with a demonstrable passion for everything the Internet offers and a twinkle in their eye as to what comes next. We'd like you to have experience in OO ActionScript 3, ideally through Eclipse / FDT / Flash Builder, and at least an open mind towards JavaScript, HTML 5, Java, Objective-C, Unity ... In return we'll get your hands dirty on projects you can be proud of, give you experience of working with our developers to produce world class websites and introduce you to Franco's carbonara. This is a new role for us, and as such a unique opportunity to show us just what we're missing.

"Been there, done that, what else is there" kind of person with lots of common sense, capable of leading a great creative team safely through a project without killing anyone in the process, able to be tough and sweet with our clients within the same phone call (ideally ending on the sweet bit), you should be organised, experienced, calm, fun to be around, wanting to make things happen even against all odds, and most importantly be passionate about zeroes and ones and the beauty they can produce.
